’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Avery Claps Back at Claims That Omar Is Controlling and Abusive

Avery and Omar, 24, have documented their love story on the hit reality spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. After sparking a connection via a dating app, she traveled to Lebanon to meet Omar.

Rumors Ignite

Their connection soon blossomed and it didn’t take long for Avery and Omar to fall head over heels for each other. Even though they were smitten, some fans felt he was being too domineering during certain scenes on the show.

Clearing the Air

While taking to Instagram Live on October 14, Avery decided to address the speculation about her beau face on. “I don’t usually respond to any comments, but I hate when people say Omar is controlling,” she began.

Firing Back

“I am sorry, but Omar asked me not to dance in the street because it’s not normal is not being controlling,” the reality star continued.

Taking to Social Media

“To be honest, people have their preferences and if he doesn’t want someone that dances in the street then trust me, it is fine because we do enough dancing at home,” she added.

Still Going Strong

The TLC alum also blasted claims that Omar doesn’t have true feelings for her, while confirming they are still going strong to this day.

“For someone to say that Omar does not love me, does not know Omar. He is the most loving person ever,” Avery explained.

Spilling Details

She even mentioned how he can be introverted at times, especially when cameras are rolling.

“Yeah, he is shy when he is getting recorded for international TV shows which I bet a lot of people would be more shy too,” Avery noted.

Finding Her Match

The 20-year-old continued by sharing a word of encouragement with her followers, adding, “Get you a man that sings for you, plays with your hair all the time, spoils you with love and anything you want.”

The Love Is Real

“Get yourself someone who will protect you at all cost and then maybe you will know how much Omar loves me,” Avery said.

So what about their haters? Omar’s leading lady also had a special message for them, claiming if they don’t like her, well then that’s a “personal problem. Okurrr!”

Shutting Down Claims

During her Instagram Live, Avery even made a point to shut down claims that she’s been hiding a black eye. She showed off her make-up free face and confirmed the allegations couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Venting Frustrations

“This is Omar and I’s actual life, where people will accuse him of anything to the point of leaving me with a black eye,” she began.

Not Taking It Lightly

“Domestic violence is very, very serious. That is not an issue with me, OK, so I would really appreciate it if you guys would stop bringing that up. Thank you guys so much,” Avery added.

Staying Busy

The reality star said she has dark circles under her eyes because she’s been staying on her grind, explaining, “For one, I’m a full time student. For two, I have a job and for three, I own my own business.”

Showing Appreciation

Avery said life in the spotlight does get stressful at times, but she’s extremely grateful to all the fans who have shown support throughout their reality TV journey. 

Taking a Stand

While concluding her video, she called out the haters for starting rumors about her relationship in the first place.

Avery explained, “It’s not OK to do that, especially make up lies about someone.”
