They’re using her name for clout! 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days stars Omar and Avery are quickly becoming a fan-favorite couple, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get their fair share of haters or trolls. There is a ton of speculation online about Avery’s relationship with her 24-year-old Syrian fiancé, and someone claiming to know Avery personally spread a rumor on social media stating the couple did not get married during their first meeting in Lebanon earlier this year. Avery, 20, took to her Instagram on Monday, September 16, to clap back at the rumors and set the record straight.

Avery shared a screenshot of a conversation between two fans on Facebook. One fan claimed that the reason why Avery converted to Muslim was because she had been on the dating app Muzmatch and saw Omar’s profile, and she liked him so much that she decided to convert for him. They went on to allege that they live in the same town and go to the same mosque as Avery. Then, they claimed Avery and Omar filmed their segments for the show in November 2018, and Avery had returned home in December 2018, without legally tying the knot with Omar.

“This is all sooo wrong. TBH the person that posted this doesn’t know me at all, it was filmed in February and I converted before I met Omar. Why the hell would I be on a MUSLIM dating app wearing a hijab on my Muzmatch profile if I wasn’t Muslim? TBH you guys just want attention by using my name. It must suck seeing a 20 year old MUSLIM girl happier and doing better than you,” Avery wrote.

Another user sent Avery a DM and explained that they had seen a post on reddit from another woman claiming to know Avery. That woman made similar allegations: that Avery and Omar have not seen each other since November 2018 and that they did not get married during Avery’s trip to Lebanon.

“The show was filmed in February so I obviously have seen him since November,” she wrote and added three laughing emojis.

While Avery slammed the rumors, she did not explicitly reveal whether she married Omar or not during their time together, which is currently being documented on season 3 of the hit TLC reality TV spinoff. Fans will just have to keep tuning in to find out if the couple ever made it down the aisle.
