She’s focusing on the positive! Jenny Slatten faced no shortage of relationship drama while appearing on the hit spinoff show, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The TLC star found out that her long-distance love, Sumit, was already married to another woman and she even came face to face with his wife at one point on the show. After discovering the shocking news, Jenny ultimately left Sumit behind in India because her visa was expired. Now, it looks like she’s living her best life!

Just this past week, Jenny, 60, enjoyed some quality time with her loved ones back in the United States. “Hanging out with my daughter Tina and her wife Jen … it’s my daughter in law Jen’s BIRTHDAY,” the reality star posted on Instagram, shortly before sharing another cute snap in Palm Springs, California. “We laugh so much together,” she wrote.

Jenny was also all smiles while posing for photos at a meet and greet she held for fans. “Thanks to everyone who came out on such short notice,” she captioned one of the group pics. That’s not all! The reality star even took a beaming portrait in front of a colorful painted wall and she appeared to be in great spirits, despite everything that’s aired on the show in recent weeks.

Fans were floored to find out that Sumit, 30, was already married to someone else, considering the fact that Jenny had left everything behind in America to pursue a relationship with him, including her job, friends, family and more. Sumit explained that it was an arranged marriage and noted how he planned on telling Jenny when the time was right.

The tension reached a boiling point when Sumit’s family found him living with Jenny. Things got especially awkward when his father-in-law confronted Jenny about his wife. “Hello Jenny, how are you? I’m Sumit’s wife’s father. He’s married to my daughter [for] the last two years,” Sumit’s father-in-law said on the show. “He’s married to my daughter.”

Jenny was obviously heartbroken about the ordeal and Sumit later owned up to his actions. “It’s all my fault, man, I did wrong. I do realize that,” he said. “I’d rather be in jail instead of being in [the] marriage which I am in. I want to live with Jenny,” Sumit added.

Even though she ventured back to the United States, Jenny said it will take some time to heal. The reality star vented, “I still love you, so that’s going to be hard for me.”

Perhaps time is helping to heal those wounds!
