Khloé Kardashian Seemingly Hints at Why She Stayed With Tristan Thompson After First Cheating Scandal
The truth will set you free. Khloé Kardashian seemingly hinted as to why she stayed with her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, after he cheated on her the first time. “I loved you so much that even when you hurt me, I tried to understand you …” the 34-year-old uploaded a cryptic quote on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 1.
In April 2018, Tristan cheated on Koko just days before their daughter, True, was born. Then, Kylie Jenner’s BFF Jordyn Woods was spotted canoodling with the 28-year-old at a bar in Santa Monica — less than a year later — in February. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time.
Despite Tristan’s betrayal, the TV personality stayed with her man for the sake of their family. “Like, I don’t even know how to describe it other than it’s just so f–ked up,” Khloé’s sis Kim Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres a month after Tristan’s tryst in May 2018. “We really were rooting for Khloé, and we still are. She’s so strong, and she’s doing the best she can. I am always rooting for her. I’m always rooting for love. I’m always rooting for families.”
The Good American designer got candid during her confessional on the April 29 Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode about the whole incident. “It’s hard to overcome cheating,” she said. “It’s hard to, you know, gain the trust back. You wonder like will it ever be the same? Will you ever really get back to where you were prior to this whole cheating scandal. So, I’m really just trying to reevaluate what is important to me and really make the right decision.”
The blonde beauty admitted to Kim that she was unsure about what to do about Tristan. “I don’t feel like I have an answer,” she said. “Like, OK, I’m going to be with Tristan forever or I’m going to break up with him … I still feel like, ‘God, when will I ever know?’”
Luckily, Khlo got her answer and broke up with the dad of two for good this past February. Since then, the hot mama hasn’t been shy about expressing her feelings on social media. “You can’t make someone be ready for what you’re ready for, and you’re not obligated to wait around for them to make up their mind,” she posted on her Instagram Stories on April 30.
It’s admirable that Khloé tried to see the good in Tristan, but in the end, you did the right thing, girl!
