Khloé Kardashian Dishes on Her Relationship With Tristan Thompson: ‘It’s Hard to Overcome Cheating’
Honesty hour. Khloé Kardashian revealed in an emotional confessional on Keeping up With the Kardashians that it’s tough to move on when someone is unfaithful in a relationship. Cough, Tristan Thompson, cough.
“It’s hard to overcome cheating,” the 34-year-old said on the recent episode that aired on Sunday, April 28. “It’s hard to, you know, gain the trust back. You wonder like will it ever be the same? Will you ever really get back to where you were prior to this whole cheating scandal. So, I’m really just trying to reevaluate what is important to me and really make the right decision.”
In the episode, the Kardashian clan heads to Bali where the Good American designer sat down with a psychic who had some eerily true things to say. “Sometimes people love you, but you feel sad. But there is something that is hurting you in your mind and you felt a traumatic experience,” the medium told Khloé. “You cannot forget that. Sometimes you don’t trust the person you’re with now.”
Afterward, the blonde beauty was shocked at how accurate her reading was since the basketball player cheated on her with multiple women just two days before their daughter, True, was born. “Ever since what’s happened with Tristan and I, nobody knows I fight an inner battle with myself in regardless to what is the best thing to do for my relationship and me,” she said. “This woman is spot on with me, and it’s kind of freaking me out.”
Little did Khloé know that a second scandal would occur. In February, it was revealed that Tristan hooked up with Jordyn Woods on a night out in Santa Monica. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time.
In the end, Koko told her sister Kim Kardashian she was unsure about what to do with her man. “I don’t feel like I have an answer,” she said. “Like, OK, I’m going to be with Tristan forever or I’m going to break up with him … I still feel like, ‘God, when will I ever know?’”
Fortunately, the reality TV starlet got her answer and broke up with the Canada native for good in February. Since then, she has been focusing on the future. “I have to move on with my life [and] count my blessings, my family, my health [and] my beautiful baby True,” she tweeted post-scandal on March 2.
