Who is the new second stew on Below Deck Mediterranean? After Hannah Ferrier’s dramatic exit from the Bravo show, Bugsy Drake was promoted to chief stew. Now, fans are dying to know who will be Hannah’s replacement on the show. Scroll below for details on what led to Hannah’s firing and meet the new castmember, Aesha Scott.

Why Was Hannah Fired?

Hannah, 33, was fired after bosun Malia White sent Captain Sandy Yawn a photo of prescription valium and a weed pen in Hannah’s possession. According to maritime law, those running a vessel at sea can’t be impaired in any way and prescription drugs must be registered.

“I personally don’t want to drive the boat to sea with how you’ve been lately,” Sandy, 55, said to Hannah as she confiscated the paraphernalia. While the drugs were the last straw, Sandy explained that was not the sole reason for her firing. “What I noticed with Hannah was a behavior change that was unlike any other,” she said on the Below Deck aftershow. “If I took her to sea knowing all of this, it’s gross negligence on my part.”

What Was the Drama Between Hannah and Malia?

Before Malia, 30, turned her bunkmate in, Hannah admitted to the bosun she had been struggling with her anxiety. After Hannah’s good friend Chef Kiko Lorran left the boat, she had a panic attack in the middle of the night and Malia was by her side during the scary episode.

Although Malia seemed to have Hannah’s back, she later told Sandy about the incident, making the captain question her chief stew’s judgment. Meanwhile, following Kiko’s departure, Malia recruited her boyfriend, Tom Chekett, to take over his job.

Now that the couple is on board together, they were hoping to share the same bunk, meaning Hannah would have to go room with second stew Bugsy, 30. Considering Hannah and Bugsy’s tumultuous relationship, Hannah was not fond of the idea. The change in rooms caused a lot of tension between Malia and Hannah, until Malia went to Sandy who used her seniority to implement the change. Shortly thereafter, Malia turned her old pal in.

Who Replaced Hannah as Chief Stew?

Almost instantly after Hannah left the yacht, Sandy asked Bugsy to take on the role of chief stew. “That’s a weird way to be promoted I guess,” she said in a confessional after accepting the job. “Somebody has to step in and take charge for a charter that’s starting in like, what an hour? It’s very unfortunate the way it’s all kind of played out.”

Who Is the New Second Stew?

After Bugsy was promoted, Sandy was left to find a new second stew. Fans got a glimpse of the crew’s latest addition as a woman wearing Converse sneakers and a backpack boarded the superyacht following Hannah’s departure. She appeared to have beachy brown hair as Sandy embraced her with open arms saying, “I’m so happy you could come.” Although the episode ended with a cliffhanger, Bravo gave some hints as to whom the new stew would be, by highlighting Sandy’s warm welcome and Malia’s first impression.

Meet Aesha Scott

On the following episode of Below Deck Med, viewers got to identify the mysterious woman with sun-kissed hair. Season 4 alum Aesha Scott walked onto the superyacht and gave Sandy a big hug. “Your favorite bush pig is back!” Aesha said in her private interview.

The brunette beauty was known for her positive outlook and bubbly personality. Last time fans saw Aesha, she sparked a romance with deckhand Jack Stirrup, although their relationship ended following the charter. After their split, Aesha went public with her new boyfriend Scotty Dobbo in July.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET
