She’s hitched! On the March 17 episode of Sister Wives, fans of the Brown family finally got to see Aspyn Brown marry the man of her dreams, Mitch Thompson. If you watched the episode, you may have wondered where exactly the stunning ceremony took place. Aspyn, 24, actually tied the knot during a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony back in June 2018, at a gorgeous venue called La Caille restaurant.

Where Did Aspyn Get Married?

The La Caille restaurant is in Utah. The venue seems to host all sorts of events including weddings, and Aspyn’s dad, Kody Brown, called the place “beautiful” during his live-tweeting session as the wedding episode aired. Christine Brown, Aspyn’s biological mother, wrote on Twitter that it was a “destination wedding,” which makes sense because most of the Browns live in Flagstaff, Arizona these days.

What Happened At the Wedding?

Well, Aspyn got married, of course. Her parents shared on Twitter all sorts of details about the ceremony as the episode aired — including the fact that Kody, 50, and Aspyn danced to “Yellow” by Coldplay. “It’s the song I assigned to her years ago,” Kody tweeted. “‘See all the stars … see how they shine for you!'” OK, that’s legitimately very sweet.

Aspyn’s moms — Robyn Brown, Meri Brown, and Janelle Brown in addition to Christine, 46 — all wore hats to the ceremony as well. Janelle, 49, tweeted during the episode, “I love the idea of the hats in theory. I don’t know why I’m so nervous about actually wearing it!” before later adding, “It was so amazing how elegant you feel when you put on a hat. [It] changes everything. You should try it!”

Who Did Aspyn Marry?

As previously mentioned, Aspyn married Mitch. Her 27-year-old hubby grew up in both Seattle and the Utah Valley, and proposed to Aspyn in Seattle. He is a carpenter, and Us Weekly confirmed in June 2018 that Mitch built the arch that the couple exchanged their marriage vows under. Aww!

Who Was at the Wedding?

The whole Brown clan, of course! But in general, Christine said on Twitter that there were only about 120 guests at Aspyn’s wedding. “The wedding was about 120 people. Small. Just immediate family only,” she wrote. Compare that to her daughter Mykelti Brown’s wedding to Antonio “Tony” Padron in 2016, who got married in front of a grand total of 400 guests. Hey, every kid is different!

If you somehow missed all the action, it might be a good idea to catch up on Aspyn’s wedding episode. See for yourself just how beautiful La Caille was — not to mention what a beautiful bride Aspyn made.
