Wendy Williams Tells Brad Pitt to ‘Squat Outside the Dorm Room’ to Repair Relationship With Maddox
She’s adding her two cents, again! Wendy Williams addressed Brad Pitt’s tainted relationship with his son Maddox on the Friday, October 18, episode of The Wendy Williams Show. Known for being opinionated, the 55-year-old told Brad, 55, how he should win back his 18-year-old son.
“I think that this is the perfect time of year to have a really well thought out Thanksgiving dinner,” Wendy advised. “Mom and dad should put their differences aside because they have a bunch of other adopted kids too.”
Brad shares Maddox with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, along with their five other children — Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, Vivienne and Knox, 11. The brunette beauty, 44, has tried to help the two come to an understanding but, “Maddox hasn’t been receptive,” a source told Us Weekly. “And for Brad, it’s a tremendous loss.”
Although Angelina has tried to mediate the situation, Wendy thinks that’s the wrong approach. “We don’t know whether Brad has tried to reach out to this boy, I must say that, he might be blocked on Maddox’s phone,” Wendy explained. “But Brad can fly to Korea and squat outside the dorm, I mean, there are things that parents can do, particularly if you have endless amounts of money. If you really want to reconnect with this boy, then leave Angelina out of it, and you go over there, and basically, you stalk him in the name of love.”
Brad and Angelina went their separate ways in 2016 after 11 years together but have yet to finalize their divorce. The actor and his eldest son allegedly got into an altercation on a private plane that same year, leaving their relationship strained ever since.
Maddox is currently studying at the Yonsei University in South Korea and recently spoke with reporters about his relationship with his dad. In a video exclusively obtained by In Touch, a cameraman asked Maddox if his famous father would be visiting him on campus. “Um, I don’t know about that … what’s happening,” he said. “Whatever happens, happens.” Maybe Wendy is on to something and we might see Brad pop out from behind the bushes when the college freshman is leaving math class.
