This is certainly raising some eyebrows. Tyler Baltierra posted a new photo of himself to Instagram on Dec. 20, accompanying a very personal poem he wrote. His wife and fellow Teen Mom OG star, Catelynn Lowell, then gushed about him in the comments, and he responded back being just as lovey-dovey. To be fair, because it’s a mirror image, people are confused about which hand Tyler is actually holding his phone in, and whether he might be wearing a ring after all on his other hand.

Flirting in the comments?

The flirtatious comments between Tyler and Catelynn in the comments on the post were notable because the two decided to take “a break” in the midst of their ongoing marital issues.

In a recent Teen Mom clip, Cate said that “Tyler has been frustrated in our marriage for a while and has been seeing a therapist…He decided he wanted to try to live separately for a month.”

Cate also admitted that she was initially “devastated” by this admission, but she eventually became more comfortable with the idea.

All that said, the lack of a ring on Tyler’s finger certainly had fans in the comments up in arms. “No wedding ring? Hope that’s not a sign of bad news…” one person wrote. “So he’s not wearing his wedding ring does that mean that they are truly over” another person responded.

But the fact that so many people looked for a ring and noticed that they can’t see one in the shot is notable thanks to the couple’s recent separation.

On the other hand, a lot of people were hopeful about the nature of the poem — which is all about accepting yourself and being happy and healthy — as well as Cate and Tyler’s exchange in the comments.
