Say It Ain’t So! Pregnant Catelynn Lowell Reveals She And Tyler Baltierra Separated For A Month

In the MTV clip, Catelynn addressed how her pregnancy was totally “unexpected” and explained how they still had “a lot of work to do” as a couple.

“Tyler has been frustrated in our marriage for a while and has been seeing a therapist,” the 26-year-old said. “He decided he wanted to try to live separately for a month.”

Catelynn’s hubby, 26, thought of the idea while going on a couples retreat in Sedona, AZ, and he believed this would help solve some of their problems.

Tyler said his wife initially took it hard. “In that moment it did trigger me,” Catelynn said. “It did bring up wounds. It was scary. It was sad and it was hurtful.”

“When people say they want to separate, they want to leave, it seriously does feel like somebody died,” Catelynn added. “It’s bringing up the old wounds from the miscarriage.”

The reality star admitted that she was devastated by Tyler’s suggestion at first, however she had a change of heart, explaining, “Now that I started the home therapy, I am more comfortable with the idea.”

It was previously reported that Catelynn and Tyler took a break for a very short amount of time. “They did it to just figure things out so Cate could find out who she is outside of her mental illness,” a source told Radar.

“Even on a break, they didn’t want to date other people,” their insider added. “Tyler has been kind of quite about their current status, but that’s because they have been filming.”

Fast forward to now, and the couple is still going strong! Catelynn and Tyler confirmed the exciting news about her pregnancy on Sept. 13 and they are expecting their bundle of joy in March 2019.
