Though he might not have been “over-the-moon excited” about the pregnancy at first, Tyler Baltierra has clearly come around. And now that his wife, Catelynn Lowell, is nearly ready to give birth, he’s already getting “emotional” about the whole thing. Check out the gallery to see how he’s preparing.

Tyler Baltierra Confesses He's Emotional About Catelynn Giving Birth

Catelynn is overjoyed to be pregnant.

In October 2018, the mama called said that it was “an amazing feeling” being pregnant with their third baby and being able to feel her little girl moving inside of her.

But Tyler’s been a bit more hesitant.

Just a month earlier, he revealed that having another baby wasn’t planned — like, at all. “I didn’t cry… I was shocked!” he told Kate Casey on her Reality Life podcast. “We were using protection. We were using all levels of protection … We were not ready for a baby, we were preventing it at all costs!”

After a while, the dad came around.

“The fact that it happened while [we were] using protection … it was the universe saying this baby was meant to be born,” he told Kate Casey. “It was a big shock to me. I won’t say that I was over-the-moon excited, but after a while you get excited and happy about it.”

And now, he’s even more ready.

After all, he’s been open about how much he “loves being a father” to Novalee, and so this is just more love in his life.

On Twitter, he shared how he was getting prepared.

After watching a video of a home birth, he couldn’t help but share, “WOW. Just…wow. This is so beautiful. Women are just so amazingly strong! I can’t wait to meet my baby, she will be here in about 4 weeks & I’d be lying if I said this video didn’t get me emotional #ImACryBaby 😍😭”

The little girl can’t come soon enough!

Lately, Catelynn has looked ready to pop.

And Nova’s excited to be a big sister.

Back in October 2018, she kissed the baby’s ultrasound pictures, gleefully exclaiming, “Baby’s waving to me!”

Tyler and Cate have picked out the perfect name, too.

During an episode of Teen Mom OG, they chatted about it with their ultrasound technician — and revealed they were going with the totally unique moniker of “Tezlee.”

They wanted something that could go with Nova’s name.

And we have to admit that Novalee and Tezlee sound pretty sweet together. Think little Tez may get a nickname of her own? Maybe she’ll go by Lee.

They also renovated their home so that it’s perfect for their family.

The place is absolutely gorgeous.

And Nova likes her new bedroom, too.

She was practically jumping out of her skin when she saw it. She just couldn’t keep the happiness inside.

Their home just needs one last finishing touch.

And that’s their new addition — though they’ve also continued to grow their family by adding a kitten to their ranks.

And after a few rocky months, Tyler and Cate seem to be doing okay, too.

In November, Cate revealed that the couple separated for a month and that they’d decided to take a break.

By December, they were flirting again.

Fans spotted them teasing each other in their Instagram comments. They’ve had some tough times, but for the sake of their new daughter, we hope they’re getting their relationship healthy.

We just can’t wait to meet her.

If Tezlee looks anything like Nova did, we know she’ll be one of the most beautiful babies around.
