Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell Both Joke About Getting a Divorce on Social Media
Everyone can calm down, Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell's relationship isn't actually in trouble and they're ready to prove it once and for all. The Teen Mom OG stars took to Instagram to share a sexy kiss and fans are totally eating it up. Watch the video above to see for yourself!
Cate captioned the shot, "My sexy a– husband. I love you. ❤ #hestoosexyforhisshirt @tylerbaltierramtv." Fans of the couple took to the comments section with excitement as they believe this is solid evidence that Tyler and Cate are still head over heels for each other.
"You don't understand how happy this makes me. I literally almost cried with these divorce rumors!!!" one person wrote. Another said, "You guys are beautiful together! Please don't ever separate."
Cate took things one step further when she legitimately joked about the couple getting divorced on Instagram. The 26-year-old shared another photo with Tyler just hours after the kissing picture, and captioned the shot, "But we are getting a divorce #nothingcanstopus." And the fans are totally here for it. Not only did they comment on how great she looks, but they also shared how happy they are that Cate and Tyler are making fun of the rumors. "F–k the haters," one person said.
Tyler decided to get in on the action, too. He shared a few photos of himself and Catelynn looking extra loved up on Instagram with the caption, "Damn! I think divorce looks pretty good on us @catelynnmtv." And despite the hate Tyler got after joking about cheating on his wife several months ago, his comments were actually supported by fans this time around.
"You guys are a strong couple and there will always be someone or something to try [to] ruin and tear you down," one person said. "But as long as you stick together, and remember the reason you fell in love…Love will always prevail." Another jokingly wrote, "If this is divorce, I want one."
The couple has been making headlines lately after reports surfaced that their relationship was "not OK." Cate added fuel to the fire by changing her last name on Instagram, which many fans took as a bad sign for their future together.
"When I ask either Cate or Ty how they're doing, they make no mention of the spouse," a friend of the couple told Radar Online. "It's weird because they've never dodged questions like that before. Cate changed her name on social media to her maiden name, which is weird because she has always been so proud to be a Baltierra and she knows people will notice and comment."
And if this report had been true, Cate was right. People were upset by the name change and took to reddit to express their concern. "Oh s–t. This has to mean something," one person wrote. Another added, "This is kinda a big deal. She waited so long to get that last name, I don't see her doing this willy nilly."
But as strong as the rumors are, Cate and Tyler seem to be even stronger. This photo isn't the first time she vehemently shut down rumors that they were separating in the past several days. "Tyler and I are not getting divorced," she shared on Instagram. "Couples go through ups and downs that’s normal life. We are a solid couple that will work through anything life throws at us!" Judging by their kiss and the sarcastic divorce jokes, it sure seems like their chemistry is stronger than ever!
