“I don’t have ‘trust issues.’ I got ‘I’ve seen this type of s–t before so I [will] be damned if I go through it all over again’ type of issues,” read a message the reality star reposted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 25.
Prior to Kail’s telling post, Chris, 26, slammed the businesswoman for calling their relationship an “entanglement” on the August 13 episode of her “Coffee Convos” podcast. “My relationship — or I don’t want to call it a relationship. … My entanglement with Chris is so complicated, and it’s so public and, partially, that’s our fault because we do it to ourselves,” she said discussing where she stands with Chris after allowing him to attend the birth of their son Creed. “I just, I wanna do the right thing, even when I’m upset.”
Chris addressed the title his ex gave their tumultuous relationship almost two weeks following her remarks. After a fan asked for “relationship advice” during an Instagram Q&A session, the woodworker replied, “Bro, I can’t give advice on something I have no clue about LOL ‘entanglements.’” On his now-deleted response, he added a screenshot of Kail’s quote from the podcast episode.
Although Kailyn and Chris have been in an on-and-off relationship since they linked up in 2017 and welcomed their son Lux, 3, later that year, the proud mama put their differences aside for the birth of the second child on July 30. While Kailyn told fans Chris would not be allowed to attend the birth, she had a change of heart the morning she went into labor. Chris was by her side as they welcomed baby Creed into the world.
In addition to Lux and Creed, Kailyn is also mother to Isaac, 10, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and son Lincoln, 6, whom she shares with ex-husband Javi Marroquin. While her relationship with Chris may be uncertain, it looks like she will always put her kids first.
