Chris Lopez Slams Ex Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry for Calling Their Relationship an ‘Entanglement’
Taken aback? Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry’s ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez shaded the mother of his children after she called their relationship an “entanglement” on her podcast “Coffee Convos.”
“My relationship — or I don’t want to call it a relationship. … My entanglement with Chris is so complicated, and it’s so public and, partially, that’s our fault because we do it to ourselves,” Kailyn, 28, said on August 13, explaining her decision to allow Chris to attend the birth of their son Creed. “I just, I wanna do the right thing, even when I’m upset.”
Chris, 26, addressed her remarks during an Instagram Q&A session with fans on Tuesday, August 25. “Bro, I can’t give advice on something I have no clue about LOL ‘entanglements,’” Chris wrote to a follower who asked for “relationship advice.” On his now-deleted reply, he added a screenshot of Kailyn’s quote and crossed out the name of her podcast in addition to a photo of Will Smith looking unamused.
The father and the reality star welcomed their second child together on July 30. The two also share 3-year-old son Lux. Although the single mother made it clear to her fans Chris would not be allowed to attend the birth of their son in previous weeks, she explained she had a change of heart.
Kailyn revealed she invited Chris to the birth the morning she went into labor. He was by her side as she delivered their baby in bed.
Additionally, she decided to leave their issues in the past and allowed their son to take his father’s last name. “I know that there have been periods of time where I felt like he doesn’t deserve to have his last name passed down. … I get so angry and I say a lot of things — that are true. Don’t get me wrong, they’re true. But then I still turn around and try to make other people happy and try to not argue,” she explained on her podcast. “Nothing I do is going to change someone else’s behavior. However, I feel like this is another attempt of me giving him a chance to not argue about the last name. … [To] try to be there.”
While it appears Kailyn, who is also mother to Isaac, 10, with ex Jo Rivera and Lincoln, 6, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, is giving Chris the opportunity to be more involved in his children’s lives, she has shared several cryptic posts about relationships in the following weeks.
There is no telling what will happen between these two.
