Former Scientologist Claims Tom Cruise Is ‘Not Allowed’ to Have a Relationship With Daughter Suri
Yikes. Tom Cruise can’t have a relationship with his youngest daughter, Suri Cruise, because she is not affiliated with the Church of Scientology, a former Scientologist named Samantha Domingo claimed to Us Weekly. The 57-year-old actor hasn’t been spotted with the 13-year-old since 2013 — right after his ex-wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce in 2012. However, it seems like it was all for show.
According to Samantha, the former follower who left the organization in 2004, told the outlet that Tom is “not allowed” to have a relationship with Suri because she’s not a Scientologist. “Maybe he did it for the photo op to make it seem like he was connected, so he wouldn’t be criticized,” she claimed.
Members are the Church believe in reincarnation, Samantha said, so their position is that “Suri’s not really his daughter — she’s just a spiritual being in his daughter’s body.”
A spokesperson for the Church denies Samantha’s allegations. “Everything about your inquiry misrepresents the Church of Scientology, its practices and the lifestyle of its ministry.”
However, the Mission Impossible star seems to have a great relationship with his two older children — Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24 — who are both Scientologists. In March, Isabella decided to share her experience with the rest of the church. “Wow. What an accomplishment,” Isabella wrote in an email obtained by journalist Tony Ortega. “This journey started with my training and even that was a bullbait. I knew I needed it but every fiber of my being fought me on it … The next thing was internship, and lord knows I was not into it. I tried to get into it, but it was even worse than the training. I had so many reasons and excuses as to why I didn’t need to do it and how it just wasn’t right for me. It turned out it was exactly what I needed.”
She continued, “This IS what I had been searching for. The missing piece. Suddenly everything began to make sense. My metering … Wow. It became clear I actually knew my metering. Even to the point of having any slight doubt on a read. I know it wasn’t a read. Beautiful thing about drilling, of course. The tech that I felt was wavering and on the verge of disappearing from my mind became part of me. I know it. Like really know it to the point that it’s just there, man. I never thought I could know something like that.”
At the end of the note, Isabella thanked everyone for their support including her father. “Thank you to my dad for everything,” she said. “Thank you to LRH [L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology founder], on so many levels. I’d need another few centuries to even find the words.”
Meanwhile, Katie, 40, is usually the one looking after her little girl, and she made it clear that her daughter is her number one priority. “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It’s very important that I’m present, and she has a stable, innocent childhood,” she told Town & Country magazine in March 2017.
Well, it seems like Suri is in good hands right now.
