Girl, bye! R. Kelly’s ex-girlfriend Azriel Clary took to Instagram to clap back at a troll who struggled to interpret her singing voice. The 22-year-old slammed the hater as she covered Alicia Key’s “Show Me Love.”

“When quarantining got you drained but you still wanna sing. [tired emoji] Yes, I did indeed half ass sing this song,” she captioned the video shared on April 16. Although the songstress showcased her killer range, one hater wrote, “I can’t understand anything she’s saying. I [would] like to hear a full clear song.” In response, the beauty assured the troll she wasn’t singing at her full potential. “Read the caption,” the aspiring artist replied. “I wasn’t really trying. Sorry.”

Despite the slight dose of shade, Azriel’s followers couldn’t get enough of her beautiful melody. “Your voice is so soothing OMG,” one user commented, while another added, “You have so much talent. I’m glad you got away from R. Kelly.” A third chimed in, writing, “Singing is definitely your gift. I hope you put out an album one day. Your voice is so beautiful.”

While the social media influencer uses her platform to showcase her vocals, she previously used her profile to extend an olive branch to former fellow live-in girlfriend Joycelyn Savage.

“Miss [you],” she wrote on her Instagram Story on a throwback photo with Joy. “This is when Belief had to get stitches in his paw and I was crying in the taxi and you were trying to comfort me. [You’re] beautiful and strong and one day you will remember your strength too. I know leaving was bad, but I also know you weren’t yourself, because the funny southern belle, Wing Spot lovin’, Memphis reppin’ Joy I know would never.”

Joy and Azriel were the last two of Kelly’s live-in girlfriends residing at his Trump Tower condo in Chicago after he was arrested on 18 federal charges of sexual misconduct in July 2019. In December, Azriel chose to move out of their shared home, causing beef between herself and Joy. The girls got into a physical altercation when Azriel returned to the home to retrieve her belongings in January.

Despite their quarrel, it seems like Azriel is willing to forgive and forget. “I love you, a man should never hold you back and one that is happy to do so is not a real man,” she continued. “A man that does not allow you to have a life outside of him is not a man with genuine intentions. Always missing you.”

Kelly, 53, remains in jail as he awaits his trial in September 2020. He has previously denied all allegations of sexual abuse.
