He’s got jokes! Before Pete Davidson split from his ex-fiancée, Ariana Grande, he compared himself to Britney Spears’ ex Kevin Federline, acknowledging that he was the less famous one in the relationship at the time. The SNL star, 25, made an appearance on Kevin Hart’s YouTube series, Kevin Hart: What the Fit, which was posted on Thursday, February 14. During the episode, the duo helped move a family out of their home.

“Oh, my God, you’re engaged to Ariana Grande,” one of the family members said when they let the comedian and The Upside actor, 39, into their house. The Staten Island native responded, “I’m Mr. Grande. It’s me! The new Kevin Federline. How are you?”

The rest of the day was a bit chaotic since Pete had an allergic reaction to the family’s pet dogs. “If this is how I die, I will be so mad,” Pete confessed. The Philadelphia native couldn’t help but laugh. “Pete Davidson is having an asthma attack right now in front of our face,” he said to the camera.

Luckily, the medic stepped in to help Pete breathe better by supplying him with an oxygen mask. “Yo, Kev, I’ll be in a minute,” he said while laughing. “Kevin, are we still friends?” “100 percent your friend,” the dad-of-three responded.

Clearly, Pete understood his role in his relationship with the Florida native. After the news broke that he was engaged, he guest-starred on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Trainwreck alum spoke about the “no tears left to cry” singer, 25, and how he couldn’t believe how fortunate he was to be with her. “I feel like I won a contest,” he said. “So sick. It’s f—king lit. I’m a lucky motherfu—er.”

Sadly, the two broke up after four months together. Recently, Pete has been hanging out with Kate Beckinsale, 45, and seems happier than ever. “Kate has really helped Pete get over his breakup with Ariana Grande. It’s still [in the] early days, and right now they’re just having fun,” an insider exclusively told In Touch.

As long as Pete is happy, then we’re happy!
