She’s naming names! After a fan tweeted about Nicki Minaj never winning a Grammy award, the rapper retweeted their statement and said there’s a very good reason why she hasn’t been awarded the honor. “Nicki Minaj has been at the top of her game for way too long to not have had a Grammy. I don’t know what white man from the boards she pissed off,” the first tweet read, to which Nicki replied, “I pissed off the same man Ariana [Grande] just called out for lying. Grammy producer KEN. I was bullied into staying quiet for 7 years out of fear. But I’ll tell my fans the REAL on the next episode of #QueenRadio they deserve the truth. Also, CONGRATS to everyone who won last night 🙏🏽.”

In case you missed it, Ariana, 25, didn’t perform at the Grammys on February 10 even though it had been previously advertised that she would. After one of the show’s producers, Ken Ehrlich, told The Associated Press the “thank u, next” singer wouldn’t be performing because he claimed that she “felt it was too late for her to pull something together” in time to take the stage Sunday night, Ariana tweeted a screencap of that article, then replied in another tweet, “I’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me. I can pull together a performance overnight and you know that, Ken. It was when my creativity & self-expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.” Major shade alert!

Ariana later added, “I offered 3 different songs. It’s about collaboration. It’s about feeling supported. It’s about art and honesty. Not politics. Not doing favors or playing games. It’s just a game y’all … and I’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.”

Now, apparently, Nicki, 36, thinks that there are some games being played when it comes to Ken and her Grammy snubs in the past, too. She’s been notably nominated for a total of 10 Grammy awards but has never won. And it sounds like she’s going to tell the whole story or why she thinks that is on her Apple Music Beats 1 show, Queen Radio, very soon. Stay tuned.
