It seems like Pete Davidson isn’t ready to talk about his rumored relationship with Kate Beckinsale just yet, but he did give us a sign that sparks might be flying between the two Hollywood stars. On Saturday, Jan. 12, the SNL star couldn’t stop smiling when an audience member at his stand-up show shouted Kate’s name.
The 25-year-old “smiled sheepishly and said, ‘yes,’” a source revealed to Us Weekly after a fan yelled, “Kate Beckinsale” at his Pete Davidson & Friends show at Tarrytown Music Hall. Unfortunately, the comedian didn’t give any other information about their romance, but this makes us think that the two could still be going strong.
Pete and Kate, 45, made headlines when it was reported that the pair left the Netflix Golden Globes afterparty together on Jan. 6. “She was following him around a bit and waiting for him,” an insider confessed to Us Weekly at the time. “People approached her and she didn’t want to talk to anyone else.”
The Total Recall actress “definitely seemed like she was interested in him” at the party, the source added.
Neither Kate or Pete have confirmed their fling, but the brunette beauty did make a joke on Instagram about her potential beau. On Jan. 9, she posted a gorgeous photo of her mother, wearing an old-school outfit. She captioned the snap, “It was great that my mother covered wearing hot pants really well and rocking a fashion owl so that I could chill for my awkward teenage years and just enjoy having the teeth of an adult horse, waiting only a couple of decades to grow to accommodate them.”
A fan couldn’t help but ask about the Trainwreck star, either. “Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson,” wrote one of her followers. “No, that’s my mother,” she joked. “Easy mistake.”
So, it looks like we still don’t have exact confirmation that these two are an item, but we like what’s happening here.
