ExclusiveKate Beckinsale ‘Really Helped’ Pete Davidson Get Over Ariana Grande
After rumors swirled that Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson were an item, the pair were spotted holding hands after they left his comedy show in Los Angeles on February 2. Now, a source revealed to In Touch that the Underworld star, 45, is exactly what the comedian, 25, needs right now. To recap, the Trainwreck alum has had quite the year. First, he split from his ex-fiancée, Ari, after four months, and then in October 2018, he wrote an alarming message on his Instagram page.
“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he wrote two months after his broken engagement. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you, but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”
Fortunately, the Staten Island native seems to be doing well since then. While he was promoting his new movie, Big Time Adolescence, at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, he made a joke about his time in rehab.
“I love Park City, Utah, because the last time I was here, I was in rehab,” Pete told Variety while he was doing press for his new film. “It’s nice to be on the other side of it.”
Pete even admitted that he stayed at Cirque Lodge — a drug addiction treatment center — about four years ago. “It speaks wonders to your rehab facilities,” he quipped. “It worked out great.”

While neither of them have put a label on their relationship just yet, the brunette beauty acknowledged that there might be ~more~ something going on between the two of them. In January 2019, the U.K. native posted a gorgeous photo of her mother on social media, and some of her fans couldn’t help but ask about her potential new beau. “Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson,” wrote one of her followers. “No, that’s my mother,” she joked. “Easy mistake.”
For now, it looks like the NBC personality is happy spending time with his new lady, and even though there is a 20-year gap between the two, it doesn’t seem to bother them in the slightest.
So, can you guys just confirm your relationship already?
