“That goes without saying,” Vinny, 31, said when they were asked if they had any big plans for Mike’s release. Pauly couldn’t agree more. “Yeah. We’re definitely going to do it up big when he gets out. Definitely, big time. Big party.”

So, will the festivities be over a day or even longer? “I want to do like a week-long celebration,” Pauly, 38, confessed.

Reunion Time

It sounds like the reality stars can’t wait to have their boy back. “Yeah, Mike’s re-release back into the world,” Pauly said about the upcoming get-together.

The dynamic duo have been promoting their new show, Double Shot at Love, where the MTV stars will have 20 women vying for Vinny and Pauly’s love. If you love The Bachelor and Jersey Shore, this is the perfect show for you. Hopefully, Mike can even check it out!

Meanwhile, Mike started his eight-month prison sentence for tax fraud at the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, on January 15.

His prison date release is reportedly set for September 13, 2019. Only five more months to go, boys, so start planning that fiesta!

Positive Vibes

Ever since the New York native has been locked up, his friends have been keeping people updated on his new routine. “He’s gonna be all right. He’s so strong, mentally, from, like, his [drug addiction] recovery process that it’s working out for him now in jail,” Vinny said in an interview. “Mike’s the type of guy that, like, looks for the positive in every situation.”

Glass Half Full Attitude

He continued, “I can picture him in there watching TV, working out, like ‘This is pretty cool,’ you know.”

Up in the Gym

Vinny a.k.a. The Keto Guido explained that The Sitch will be working on his fitness while he’s away. “The Keto Guido is his health coach, and I am glad that he is going to be working out a little more in there,” he said.

Updates Galore

Even Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed to E! News that Mike is doing just fine. “Mike is having the time of his life,” she admitted. “He’s doing good in there but thank God. We were all nervous.”

Friends ‘Till the End

The brunette beauty, 31, couldn’t help but make light of uhh … the situation. “It’s like he’s in a senior home,” she joked. “We all talk to him through an email, so I talk to him like once a week.”

She continued, “He is helping other people out with sobriety, he loves bingo and all of his scrabble games, and he is working out. He’s in the gym a lot, so he’s probably gonna come out ripped. You know, he’s not gonna be BDS anymore — Big Daddy Sitch — he’s gonna have his, probably, six-pack again. But he’s doing good in there.”

Mike’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino, (née Pesce) has been updating fans through Mike’s Twitter account on how he is holding up.

“Hi everyone, it’s Lauren,” she wrote on January 16. “Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love and support. We speak every day and he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and every one of you.”

Snooki made it clear that Mike loves interacting with his loyal fanbase. “He loves the fan mail that he is getting,” she said. “So, everyone keep sending the fan mail because it takes up his time in there and he loves it!”

Pauly also wanted to give his two cents about his friend. “He’s doing good,” he told Us Weekly. “We talk to him almost every day. He’s in good spirits. He has a lot of positive things to come home to.”

The Staten Island native had nothing but amazing things to say about his buddy. “That’s why he’s an inspiration, ‘cause if you were to think about getting out and stuff, you would drive yourself crazy. He’s like, ‘This is my day today. I’m gonna have some Doritos and work out [and] play Scrabble.’”
