One Big Happy Family? ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Ex Jen Harley Reunite With Daughter Ariana
Putting their differences aside! Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and his baby mama, Jen Harley, spent time with their little girl, Ariana Sky, on Sunday, March 24, at a party in Texas.
The blonde beauty, 31, took to her Instagram Stories to show that the Jersey Shore star, 33, was taking care of their daughter, 11 months, by fixing her outfit and touching her cheeks. Throughout the day, Jen posted several snaps of their kiddo wearing a jumpsuit with a blue bow in her hair and it seemed like she couldn’t stop smiling.
The MTV personality and Jen have had a challenging relationship, to say the least. A month ago, Jen called out Ronnie on social media because he canceled their Valentine’s Day plans. “I’m sorry but if you go away for six weeks to become a better boyfriend, father, person, etc. to work on your family but you choose to cancel all of our plans on Valentine’s Day so you can appear on a dating show because you need the money that bad over your family … you’re a joke,” she said on February 6. “How did you better anything?”
After the New York native revealed that he went to rehab for alcohol abuse and depression, it seems like Ronnie is trying to be the best father he can be. “If I’m not taking care of myself, I can’t take care of my daughter. I can’t take care of my family. That’s something that I’ve always thrived off of,” he told Us Weekly in February. “That little girl is like my guardian angel. I say to this day, she saved my life. I think, without her, I don’t think I would’ve taken this step, because what would I have to lose?”
He continued, “I’m a father. I’m a role model. I have to remember that. She’s getting older. She’s not getting younger. She’s getting older, and she’s getting smarter and smarter.”
It seems like the Famously Single alum is really making an effort with his ex, too. “She’s always going to be the mother of my child, at the end of the day,” he told the publication. “All I can do is control myself. I can’t control her.”
It’s nice to see these two getting along for once!
