Damned if you do, damned if you don’t! 90 Day Fiancé star Paola Mayfield recently revealed that she’s expecting her first child — a baby boy — with her husband Russ Mayfield. Unfortunately, her fame makes her a target for mom-shamers, who think she should stop exercising so hard while she’s pregnant. Well, guess what: she doesn’t care what they say as long as she knows her baby is safe. Watch the video above to see her clapback!

On Aug. 21, she posted a screenshot of an Instagram comment from a health professional on her Instagram Stories, detailing how her workouts are perfectly safe. They may look extreme, like the cardio and weighted squats, but the doc says that’s totally fine, and even healthy!

Fans, however, are still unconvinced. “Be careful on working out when you’re pregnant,” commented one fan. “I have read many articles stating intermittent fasting is bad while pregnant,” said another. A third chimed in, “I just saw a video of you pick up weights around your waist. Please tell me that that was before you were p.g. I’m old school Hispanic and you should take it easy. Just my opinion.”

The thing is, no one is more concerned about her baby’s safety than Paola is. In the last season of 90 Day Fiancé, we saw the couple suffer a tragic miscarriage, so she’s working very closely with her doctors to make sure she’s doing everything right. So if you see her working out, then she’s already checked with her doctor about it.

This isn’t just a problem with Pao, but with all celeb mommies. Khloé Kardashian recently clapped back at the same thing. “Completely over mommy/body shamers!” she tweeted on July 31. “Women who choose to take their time after baby, I’m so proud of you! Women who choose to work out after baby, I’m so proud of you! We all must do what’s best for US!” You tellem, girl!
