Gone, but not forgotten. Lauren London paid tribute to her longtime love, Nipsey Hussle, by getting a beautifully detailed new tattoo of his face in the wake of his tragic death. She showed off the stunning design on her forearm which featured a powerful message that read, “God will rise.”

“Real Love Never Dies When you see me, you will always see him #LoveYouHussle #TMC,” the 34-year-old wrote alongside the photo she posted of her fresh ink via Instagram on April 11.

Several celebs and fans were showing love under Lauren’s post. “I wish I could like this photo a thousand times. Hold your head high. Greatness will always be within you,” one wrote. “Stay strong beautiful. You will meet your king again. It’s not a goodbye, but a see you later,” another added.

Nipsey, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, was tragically gunned down outside of his L.A. clothing store on March 31. He died at the young age of 33 after being shot multiple times.

Lauren and Nipsey were together for over five years and they share one child together, a precious son named Kross. The power couple formed a blended family with their son, his daughter from a previous relationship, Emani, and her son, Cameron, by rapper Lil Wayne.

After releasing a statement about his tragic passing, Lauren accompanied their children and his younger relatives on stage at the rapper’s memorial on April 11. She began her impassioned speech, “Never was I prepared for anything like this, so bare with me ya’ll.”

Lauren discussed the incredible bond they shared and opened up about one of the texts she sent the rapper before his death on January 21, 2019. “Ermias, I want you to know that I feel joy in my heart when I am around you. I feel safe around you, protected, like a shield over me when you are around.”

“You’ve made me into more of a woman. You’ve given me the opportunity to really love a man,” she continued, while holding back tears. “I wouldn’t want to go through this journey with anyone but you … I just want you to know that you have been the greatest boyfriend to me.”

Our hearts go out to Nipsey’s loved ones during this tough time.
