Lauren London Speaks Out After Nipsey Hussle’s Tragic Death: ‘I’ve Lost My Best Friend’

She’s breaking her silence. Lauren London shared a heartfelt tribute dedicated to her boyfriend of five years, Nipsey Hussle, following his tragic death. The actress, who also shares a young son with the late rapper, addressed how devastated she is by his untimely passing.

“I am completely lost I’ve lost my best friend My sanctuary My protector My soul … I’m lost without you We are lost without you babe I have no words,” Lauren, 34, wrote via Instagram on April 2.

Lauren and Nipsey, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, met for the first time in person when she visited his store on Slauson Ave in Los Angeles — the same store he was fatally shot near on March 31. The couple had an undeniable bond, welcoming their first child together on August 31, 2016, a son named Kross. Lauren and Nipsey formed a blended family with their son, his daughter from a previous relationship, Emani, and her son, Cameron, by rapper Lil Wayne.

Lauren last posted a photo with Nipsey on March 28, from their recent Q&A with GQ. During the interview, Nipsey answered almost every question about Lauren correct, and she also teased that he was her “celebrity crush.” The rapper even said he felt she was “head-over-heels” from the moment they met.

Nipsey was tragically gunned down outside of his L.A. clothing store on March 31. He sadly passed away at the young age of 33 after being shot multiple times. Police are still investigating what exactly took place that fateful afternoon, but the suspect, 29-year-old Eric Holder, is in custody.

Before the fatal shooting, Nipsey eerily tweeted, “Having strong enemies is a blessing.” When the heartbreaking news about his death was announced, several fans and celebrities took to social media to share their condolences.
