Hundreds of fans gathered to pay their respects to Nipsey Hussle after his tragic death on March 31. The rapper was shot and killed outside his clothing store in Los Angeles and several people showed up to the same location to mourn his untimely passing — bringing flowers, candles and photos of the Grammy-nominated artist to celebrate his life and impact on the music industry. Gone, But Not Forgotten

Nipsey, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, is missed by so many. Several fans shared their condolences for the late rapper at a makeshift memorial held outside his L.A. clothing store on March 31, hours after the shooting.

Mourners of all ages have been flocking to the location to pay their respects, some even staying late into the evening for a candlelight vigil. Fans have been blasting his music and bringing flowers as well as signs.

People from all over the world have been overcome with grief after learning he was gunned down in front of his clothing shop, the Marathon Store. Eyewitnesses claim multiple shots were fired that fateful afternoon.

His Legacy Lives On

Nipsey is survived by his girlfriend of five years, Lauren London, and his two children. The rapper has accomplished so much recently, having dropped his first studio album, Victory Lap, in 2018, which was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys.

While paying their respects, fans were breaking down into tears and discussing the incredible impact he left on the music industry before his tragic death at the young age of 33.
