‘Sister Wives’ Star Maddie Brown’s Son Reached a Big Milestone — He’s Walking!
He's so big! Sister Wives star Maddie Brown was the first child in the famous polygamous family to get married and have a baby — now her son is up and on his feet. She shared a sweet video of the babe, Axel James Brush, taking a few wobbly steps towards her as she cheered him on. However, this happy milestone hasn't been smooth sailing as Maddie said Axel had a pretty tough week.
She captioned her video, "Axel is having a rough day/night of teething, so we have spent the morning cuddling and sleeping. In between his naps I have been looking at all the photos of him as a new born, to this point. (I have learned I am not the only one who does this.) All I can think to myself is where did my little baby go!? ??."
Not only did Maddie share a glimpse of what Axel has been up to, but also reached out for some mommy advice. She asked her followers, "Mom's how did you baby proof the house at this point?) Aside from plugging the outlets and all the normal stuff.) Like [bookshelves] and such."
One person replied, "Foam corner covers for tables, dressers, counters… anything with sharp corners. The clear ones work good and the foamy ones do too. #walmart is where I got them." Another said, "Axel seams like a very smart litte man even though you plug up the sockets you may need to check them as some babies know how to take them out as I found my son doing that. God bless."
The 22-year-old welcomed her son into the world — after spending 72 hours in labor — on May 20, 2017, with her husband Caleb Brush and parents, Kody and Janelle Brown, by her side. Maddie told People before the birth, "We're feeling both excited and exhausted at the same time. We're looking forward to having a family. Now that he's here we excited to grow our family a little bit more and spread our love even more."
