Kylie Jenner Reveals She Talks to Caitlyn Jenner ‘Every Day’: ‘My Dad Was the Best Growing Up’
No tension here! Kylie Jenner revealed her current relationship status with her father, Caitlyn Jenner, and she admits they talk “like every day,” in an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR, which was published on Tuesday, February 4.
The I Am Cait alum, 70, recently competed on I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! in December, and Kylie, 22, confessed that was the only time they didn’t communicate. “Except I couldn’t talk to her for three or four weeks when she did that show,” she says. “I watched clips online. It was hard to be out of touch for that long, but I feel like it was harder for because she couldn’t see us.”
Despite the hard times, the KUWTK starlet couldn’t help but gush about the former Olympian. “My dad was the best growing up,” she exclaims. “Never missed a sports game. Took us to school every day, and our school was, like, 45 minutes from the house.”
But Kylie made it known that she is very similar to her mom, Kris Jenner, when it comes to running their businesses. “My siblings compare us all the time,” she says. “I see my mom almost every day; I was over there last night. I’ll just go by her house. We’re always here working together, doing different things or taking meetings together. But I actually think we all have a lot in common.”
It’s refreshing to see Kylie — who shares Stormi, 2, with Travis Scott — on good terms with her father, especially after none of the Kardashian-Jenner clan greeted her after she left the reality show. “My family is very well known,” Cait explained to The Daily Mail in an interview published on December 30. “I never asked any of them to come down or expected them to — they all have businesses and families. I was disappointed they were criticized. After the show was over, I texted or called all the kids to apologize.”
However, the makeup mogul and Kendall Jenner, 24, decorated Cait’s room with gold, white and pink balloons to celebrate her arrival. “Thank you my [babies],” she captioned the snap via Instagram on December 10.
Meanwhile, Cait’s son Brandon Jenner and stepdaughter Kim Kardashian cleared the air as to why they weren’t in attendance. “Why [weren’t] you at the bridge? So sad seeing your dad upset,” a fan asked Brandon, 38, via an Instagram message, which was shared by The Mirror. “Honestly, nobody reached out to set it up! I think it might have been a ‘storyline’ the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn,” he replied. “That’s how that kind of TV works.”
Kim, 39, wrote, “Exactly what Brandon said!!! NO ONE from I’m a Celeb even reached out and asked for letters, appearances or anything from any Kardashians or Jenners.”
Well, sounds like there’s no drama between Cait and Kylie after all!
