Her biggest fan! Almost a year after Kim Kardashian helped Alice Johnson get out of prison, the 63-year-old wrote a book about her journey, and the KUWTK star is excited for it to come out.

“I can’t wait to read this book!” the 38-year-old uploaded the cover of Alice’s memoir on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, May 12. The book is called After Life and is slated to come out on May 21. Additionally, it looks like Kim wrote the foreword.

In the Sunday, May 12, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim introduced her family — her mom, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and her husband, Kanye West — to Alice. Alice had been serving life without parole for a first-time non-violent drug offense.

The “Gold Digger” rapper couldn’t help but gush about his wife as soon as Alice arrived at Kendall’s house. “You know, she does all of the research and listens every night to people’s stories,” he said.

In response, Alice said, “I am a person who stands up for what is right, and I respect someone that stands up.” The KKW Beauty founder campaigned for her to be freed, which led to a meeting with President Trump. Afterward, Alice was pardoned and released from jail after 20 years.

At the dinner table, Alice informed the Kardashian crew that she is currently living in Arizona with her daughter, who has 8-month-old twin girls. “I like it,” she said. “I miss my sisters a lot, but it feels good to be there to watch the babies grow.”

Even though Alice has some exciting things coming up, the mom-of-four pointed out that it’s hard for people to support themselves after they served time. “I know you got a book deal, and I know exciting things are happening for you,” she said. “If it wasn’t for that, are you thinking of getting a job? How would that have happened because I have heard that is the hardest thing to do.”

Alice went on to say that she knew people would offer her employment but others might not be as lucky. “That was one of the reasons that many of them came back to prison,” she said. “They couldn’t find jobs and they returned to what they knew.”

The brunette beauty said that was one of the reasons why she could argue her case with President Trump. “When I was pleading your case with the President, I was like, ‘She has family that she can live with, she has job offers,’ so that was a huge thing. I had to say, ‘She has a job offer,’” she said.
