Enemies No More? Khloé Kardashian Posts Cryptic Message Following Tristan Thompson Scandal
Another day, another cryptic message from Khloé Kardashian. The KUWTK star uploaded an Instagram Story on Friday, July 12, that seemingly addressed where she stands with Jordyn Woods — five months after she hooked up with Khloé’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.
“Saw a post that said, ‘Just because you lost me as [a] friend doesn’t mean you gained me as an enemy. I’m bigger than that. I still want to see you eat — just not with me,’ and I felt that,” the note read.
The 21-year-old model allegedly hooked up with the 28-year-old basketball player at his house after a night out in February. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time. After Koko, 35, heard about the tryst, she called out Jordy for ruining her relationship with Tristan. “Why are you lying @jordynwoods?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story,” she vented on March 1 on Twitter. “BTW, you ARE the reason my family broke up!”
Since then, the Good American designer has been trying to move on with her life. However, on the Sunday, June 23, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the mom of one had to relive all the drama … again. But this time, Khlo admitted she didn’t mean to blame just Jordyn for her actions.
“I know you have this aggression toward so many people that you trusted that [were] in your life for years at a time,” Kim Kardashian, 38, said in the clip. “I guess you had to go through the motions. It just sucks that it’s so public to go through it like that, and then it’ll, you know, cause you to tweet and then you’re like, ‘S—t, that’s not what I should’ve done.’”
The Revenge Body host agreed, saying, “The world took that so literally … I would never blame solely one person for that; there’s a multitude of things. So, I feel bad even though Jordyn played a part. I do feel bad if anyone would think I was putting the sole blame on her. That’s not the truth, and I only like to speak my truth.”
In the end, it seems like the reality starlet came out on top. “Emotionally, you have to be really, really strong for this environment that we’ve created,” she said in her confessional. “I know, as much as these people hurt us, I also know that, if this can make them better, and I can be that person, I know I’m strong enough to do that. It just sucks it has to be so public.”
Will Jordy and Khloé kiss and make up any time soon? Only time will tell.
