She’s taking a stand. Kailyn Lowry is refusing to film Teen Mom 2 after Jenelle Evans’ mom, Barbara Evans, made a controversial joke via Instagram Live on January 19, claiming they should “get lit and kill Kail.” Now, Kailyn tells In Touch exclusively that she won’t be filming for the hit MTV reality show until Barbara’s death threats are addressed. Kailyn revealed that she hasn’t spoken to producers yet about the drama. “Nobody has reached out to me personally,” she said. “I had given them my attorney’s info, but I haven’t heard from him either, so I guess we will see.”

The drama started when Jenelle and her mom, Barbara, decided to go on Instagram Live to chat with fellow Teen Mom star Brittany DeJesus.

Around the same time, Barbara received a phone call about the remark and Jenelle quipped to the camera, “Uh oh, she’s in trouble.”

“It was only a joke,” Barbara stated after the call. “I was being sarcastic and everyone freaks out like I want to go kill the girl. C’mon I’ve known the girl for 10 years. That’s crazy s–t.”

“My husband DOES NOT interfere with filming,” Jenelle fired back to the claims in an Instagram video. “Producers get angry when David is going to be at my child’s soccer games, or if I go to LA to do business, etc…they CHOOSE not to come.”
