She seemed to enjoy her trip abroad, but Kailyn Lowry‘s posts about her Iceland vacation were met with some criticism from fans. After she shared photos on Instagram on Monday, March 2, the Teen Mom 2 star received a comment calling her out and questioning how she could afford to take a trip without her kids. The reality TV personality wasn’t about to listen to the trolls, though — she quickly clapped back with a quip about money management. Check out the gallery below to see what Kail had to say.

Kail, 27, loves to travel, and she does her best to plan trips for herself and her family. With baby No. 4 on the way, though, she wanted to go on one more trip for herself.

The star has been tweeting excitedly about her vacation for months. “Next stop for us is Iceland,” she wrote on the social media site in September 2019, tagging pal Leah Messer, who was originally supposed to go with her.

In January, she revealed that she was counting down the time left before she got to head overseas. “43 days until Iceland,” she told her fans and followers.

When she finally made it abroad, she kept fans updated, letting them know how her trip was going as she and a mom friend named Rachel did their best to find their way to where they were staying. “[It was] a two hour+ drive [and] the language is sooo hard,” Kail revealed.

To another fan, who seemingly credited the star’s MTV gig with helping her fund the trip, she explained, “Nobody I’m with has been on TV at all … and they paid for themselves to be here and away from their families, too.”

Unfortunately, the criticism is nothing new for Kail. Since revealing her baby news to fans, the MTV mama says “the hate [she gets] from followers and viewers is on another f–king level.”

Though she’s been doing her best to silence the haters by clapping back, she’s also been straight-up blocking them. The problem with that strategy, though, is “there’s sooo many.”

Frankly, she’s getting tired of it, regardless of whether or not any of the criticism is valid. “I don’t care why [people hate me]!” she told one fan. “Not everyone is gonna like me. That doesn’t mean [people should] tag me in every single opinion and hate comment.”
