Collin Gosselin Goes Christmas Tree Shopping With Dad Jon And Sister Hannah In Cute Family Pic
Tis the season! Jon Gosselin missed a lot of his kids’ childhoods because of his nasty, ongoing custody battle with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin, but it looks like he’s definitely making up for lost time now. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star took to Instagram to share an adorable blended family photo featuring Jon, his son Collin Gosselin, and daughter Hannah Gosselin along with his girlfriend Colleen Conrad and her children.
“Found our tree. Let the holidays begin!!!!” Jon, 41, wrote in the caption of the pic. It seemed like Jon disabled comments on the posts, seemingly to avoid rude comments about his family from fans.
This photo is the third one that Jon has posted this month feature his son Collin, which is especially significant because Collin, 14, has been out of the spotlight completely for the past two years. Back in 2016, Collin’s mom Kate revealed in an interview with People that she made the tough decision to send Collin away from his family home in order to seek treatment at a facility for children with special needs. After Kate’s announcement, Collin has rarely been seen on the family’s hit TLC series Kate Plus 8, and he was also missing from photos that were taken during family celebrations.
On Nov. 4, Jon shared a pic of him with Collin and Hannah standing in front of Jon’s home. “Had a good weekend visit with Collin at home!” Jon captioned the cute shot.
Just one day later, Jon shared a photo of his son Collin sitting in the barber’s chair at a local barbershop. “A HUGE [sic] thank you to Eric Rodriguez @ebarber828 at Mike and Joes Barbershop for welcoming my son Collin home with a fresh new cut!!!” Jon wrote in the caption.
Jon and Collin have been spending a lot of quality father-son time together, and sources previously revealed to In Touch that Collin “prefers to hang out with his dad over Kate.”
