Poor kid! Collin Gosselin, one of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s children, is reportedly “bummed” when he has to return to the treatment center he’s been living in for more than two years, Radar Online reported Nov. 7. Jon’s friend and barber, Eric Rodriguez, had the opportunity to hang out with the 14-year-old when the teen was visiting his dad recently, and according to him, Collin doesn’t seem to be a fan of the facility.

While Collin was getting a haircut during the visit, Rodriguez — who is a barber at Mike and Joe’s Barber Salon in Reading, Pennsylvania — reportedly asked him if he was “excited to go back [to the facility].” Rodriguez told Radar Online, “He was bummed about going back. He just said to me, ‘I can’t wait for Thanksgiving break! And to come home.'”

Collin’s dad filed for full legal and physical custody of the boy on Oct. 24, claiming it would be in Collin’s best interest if he lived with his dad when he is eventually released from the inpatient center he’s been staying in. Rodriguez asked Collin about his hopes for school when he leaves the facility, and told Radar Online, “I asked him if he was excited about going to regular school and he said, yeah he’s super excited about it. He just said he didn’t like his other school that he was in before that facility, the one that Kate had him in.”

Collin is one of eight children Jon and Kate share. They are parents to 14-year-old sextuplets — Collin, Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel — and 18-year-old twins Maddie and Cara, who were all previously featured on the reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8. It was Kate who initially sent Collin to an away-from-home program, reportedly because she felt he had to be there to get the specialized attention he requires as a child with special needs.

A source close to Jon recently told Us Weekly exclusively, “Collin is very intelligent. He was always questioning Kate and talking back. Kate doesn’t like that.” The source also said that Collin is thriving in the program, (even if he may not like it there very much!), and Jon is in close contact with staff members there.

Should Jon get custody of Collin when he leaves the facility, the teen would live with both his father and his sister, Hannah, who resides with Jon “permanently,” according to Us Weekly.

“I can definitely tell that he can’t wait to come home,” Rodriguez told Radar Online. “Let’s hope he gets out soon.” We’ll keep our fingers crossed!
