Jessa Duggar And Jana Duggar's Alfredo Sauce From This Throwback Clip Is Getting Majorly Trolled

Chef Boyar…oh, who are we kidding? Fans are getting a kick out of this throwback clip of Jessa Duggar and Jana Duggar whipping up some Alfredo sauce — which many are labeling “bland.” The sisters showed off their cooking skills, or what some consider a lack therof.

It looks like Jill Duggar is getting a pass this time, since people are focused on Jessa and Jana’s creation in this Counting On clip from 2016. “Their lack of schooling is so evident. ‘We’re going to dissolve the cheese’ — umm that’s melting the cheese. ‘We’re going to let the cheese soak up.’ I’m pretty sure that’s not what you’re doing,” one person commented on Reddit, while another asked: “I mean…where’s the fresh garlic? Oregano?” Watch the video above to see their creation.

The ladies did explain that it was a straightforward recipe, as Jana revealed: “It’s really simple. It only takes three ingredients and it’s something that everyone in our family loves.” Jessa added, “I remember eating this a lot growing up. You make it all the time. You’re a pro.”

After the sauce is ready, Jana explained that it’s poured on the noodles to soak for a few minutes, then voila! The Duggar girls have a reputation for pushing the easy button when it comes to their recipes, especially Jill. Fans previously grilled her for her sweet potato fries, which looked nothing like fries, for her pizza with crusty cheese, stew with canned ingredients and more. Who can forget those cream of chicken enchiladas? At least they’re trying and learning as they go, right!
