Jessa Duggar Says She and Ben Seewald Are ‘Over the Moon’ After Welcoming Daughter Ivy
They’re loving life! Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald welcomed baby No. 3, a daughter named Ivy Jane, on Sunday, May 26. Now that they’ve brought her home (after a possible trip to the hospital), everyone is settling in nicely. Though the Duggar family has already all rushed to share photos with their new niece, Jessa herself had only posted one photo as part of her announcement. Now, however, that’s changed, and the Counting On star is giving fans a glimpse into what things are like at home now that the Seewalds are a family of five.
On Thursday, May 30, Jessa posted a photo of her and Ben gazing lovingly at their little girl. In the other three shots in the Instagram album they shared, she gave her followers a close up look at Ivy’s sweet little face. “We are over the moon, 💞” she captioned the photos. And she’s not alone! Fans were pretty excited, too. “She looks just like Spurgeon! 😍💕” read one comment. “Duggar genes are strong! She’s a doll!” added another.
The awe and adoration also came pouring in from Jessa’s family. “Cannot get over how much she looks like Henry!” Joy-Anna Duggar wrote, while Jill Duggar commented, “And you look so great mama! Can’t wait to snuggle my little baby again soon!” Anna Duggar, Jessa’s sister-in-law, chimed in, “She is so beautiful!” Even some of the Bates girls wanted to be part of the love fest. “So happy for you two,” shared the recently-married Carlin Bates. Her sister Alyssa Bates added, “She is perfect!!!! So happy you got a little girl! You will love all the bows and pink.”
We’re excited for Jessa to start showing off her baby girl style, too! Her lil sis Jinger Duggar has been going ham on the big bows and florals ever since she had her daughter Felicity in July 2018. Hopefully, she can pass some hand-me-downs on to little Ivy. Though this is Jessa’s third child, it’s her first girl — and like she said in January 2019, she’s pretty much “starting from square one.” Luckily, between Jinger and Anna, she’s got plenty of #girlmoms to go to for advice.
