Jersey Shore’s Angelina Pivarnick Shuts Down Rumors She Split From Husband Chris: ‘Fake’
In it for the long haul. Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick shut down rumors that she and her husband, Chris Larangeira, split up after only 10 months of marriage.
“@angelinamtvjs given you’ve taken Chris’ last name I’m guessing the recent ‘break up’ stories are fake,” one fan wrote to the brunette beauty on Sunday, August 29, shortly after the reality star changed her last name on Twitter. “Fake news,” she replied on Monday, August 31.
This isn’t the first time Angelina has taken to social media to shut down split rumors with her newly beloved. After reports of their breakup started circulating online, the Lashelina owner clapped back.
“This is hilarious LOL,” she wrote on a screenshot of the article shared to her Instagram story on August 28. Additionally, a photo of Chris laying with their cat with the caption “all I need in life” was cited as a hint that the couple was headed for splitsville, and she reminded her fans their cat’s name is also Angelina.
Angelina and the sanitation worker tied the knot during a stunning ceremony with family and friends in November 2019. Although the happy couple were thrilled to spend their special day with those they love most, their evening had a little hiccup following Deena Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s raunchy toast.
Her costars called the blushing bride “the dump to their island,” among other insults, and Ang stormed out of her own affair with her groom behind her. Since then, Angelina has been at odds with her castmates, but their feud was relit after her wedding episode aired on MTV in July.
“Seeing how everyone’s downplaying our feelings is incredible and sad at the same time!! It was OUR wedding, the one day we can’t get back!!! No can tell @Chris_e_piss_e and [I] how to feel,” she wrote on Instagram following the episode. “Once again, I am the bad guy.”
In the wake of her fallout with her old friends, Angelina revealed where they stand today. “I texted all of them, and I spoke to them,” she wrote on Twitter at the time. “Deena and [I] had a nice convo. Nicole I’ve texted and we spoke. Jenni I texted, ‘I wanna move past this,’ and she wrote me a novel about how I tried to sabotage her brand, etc. Not saying sorry at all.”
Despite the occasional drama, it seems like Angelina and Chris are stronger than ever.
