It’s a family affair! Jennifer Garner and ex-husband Ben Affleck teamed up in support of their daughter Seraphina at her soccer game on Saturday, September 14. The two are frequently spotted coparenting their three kids and we are so here for it.
Ben, 47, sported a chambray button-down and dark gray pants. It looks like he was feeling the falls vibes as he paired his look with a maroon-colored sneaker. Jen, 47, showed up looking comfy and casual in a gray T-shirt and blue-and-white stripe drawstring pants. She wore navy sneakers and added dark sunglasses and wore her hair in a bun. Their son, Samuel, stayed by his parents’ side to root on his sister. The 7-year-old donned a red shirt and gray shorts. As Ben made himself comfortable in a lawn chair, Sam sat on his dad’s lap to watch the game.
The actor parents are often spotted together despite separating in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The two have developed a reputation for handling coparenting with stride. Although Ben and Jen still have a great relationship, Jen moved on in October 2018 with her new man, John Miller.
“He’s a great guy and they are friends,” the 13 Going on 30 star’s good friend Victor Garber told Us Weekly of her boyfriend. “I think he’s adorable. They’re great!” the 70-year-old previously told the magazine. “What’s wonderful is they’re taking their time, and they are just enjoying each other’s company,” he added, “Her priority is her children, that’s it. She’s focused on that. She’s remarkable.
“She’d never thought she’d find love again,” a source close to Jennifer told In Touch back in January. “But now John has proven her wrong. Jen is head-over-heels in love with him.”
Surprisingly, John has been a great influence on Ben. “Jen having a boyfriend has been the best thing to happen to Ben and Jen in a long time,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He’s really showing Jen that he can be a better person. They’re coparenting in a way they never have before. He ultimately just wants to be the best father he can be and part of that is continuing a loving relationship with Jen.”
