It’s officially over, guys. Fans have long held out hope that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner might one day reunite after Ben did some hard work on himself, but today, that dream died. On Nov. 7, the beloved longtime couple filed the last of their divorce documents and got the sign-off from a judge to end their marriage at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to Us Weekly.

The couple actually reached a final agreement back in October while meeting at Jen’s house, but the divorce didn’t officially go through until Nov. 7. Interestingly, Jen’s reported boyfriend, John Miller, had his divorce finalized less than a week earlier after six years of negotiating. Perhaps meeting each other was the push they both needed to move on with their lives. She was even spotted house hunting just days ago, clearly ready to start the next phase of her life.

Jen and Ben first announced their split in 2015, but it’s clear that Jen will always play a part in Ben’s life. They share three beautiful kids together: Samuel, 6, Seraphina, 9, and Violet, 12. Perhaps that’s why Jen has stayed so invested in Ben’s health. Earlier this year, she even drove him to a treatment center for his alcohol addiction.

While the divorce is just now legal, Jen and Ben clearly haven’t felt married for quite some time. Ben dated Saturday Night Live writer Lindsay Shookus from mid-2017 to mid-2018, before reportedly becoming involved with Playboy model Shauna Sexton just before going to rehab, though he’s reportedly single again now. As previously mentioned, Jen is reportedly dating businessman and lawyer John Miller, who has a shaky history as a bad boy, according to his ex-wife, but who Jen is very excited about. We wish them all the best!
