Jenelle Evans and David Eason Are Getting Slammed Over Their Latest Parenting Blunder
While no one can deny that Jenelle Evans and David Eason are notorious for saying (and doing) all of the wrong things, we think the haters may have gone a little too far this time. What was supposed to just be an adorable picture shared by David on Instagram became a cutthroat cyber parenting class. The couple's daughter, Ensley — who recently took her first sweet steps — was photographed sleeping peacefully in her car seat. By all appearances, the child looked safe and sound, but fans were concerned about one tiny detail in the pic. Watch the video above to check it out for yourself!
One commenter attempted to defend Jenelle and her baby daddy, saying, "I am a fan of Jenelle and no way I am bashing, but I agree the straps are giving me anxiety. I do know that in The States laws and car seats are different, maybe they just don’t know."
Others were less forgiving. "I hope y’all were stopped or getting out of the car, because if ya [SIC] were ever in an accident she would be seriously injured! Proper car seat safety isn’t optional, it’s life-saving. Fix the sweet girl's straps!" another commenter said.
The pair has yet to address the backlash. Our guess? They're used to it. In the past month alone, Jenelle has insulted a survivor of a school shooting, claimed that David is black, and boasted weird AF conspiracy theories about the government on her Instagram.
If there's any reality star used to getting hate, it's Jenelle. She's been controversial in many instances, but frankly, this is not one of those times. Surely someone's child should be off limits on social media, right? Well, in a perfect world… maybe.
