Isabel Rock Honors Late Mother and Brother During Wedding With Jacob: ‘They Were There’ in Spirit
Forever cherishing their memory. Little People, Big World star Jacob Roloff’s wife, Isabel Roloff (née Rock), shared a “sacred photo” of her late mother and brother on Friday, September 27, revealing how she honored them during her wedding. The artist gushed over their bond and explained how she truly felt both of them were present at her beautiful nuptials in spirit.
“Many people asked me if I was sad that both my mother and brother couldn’t be there with us on our day, but the thing is, I know they were there,” the 23-year-old began her heartwarming caption on Instagram. “If there is one thing I know about loss and death it is that it is not the end. I have held strong to the faith that I will see my loved ones again.”
Isabel sweetly added, “People can’t understand that, and I was always questioned when I said it. While it doesn’t make sense here earth side, one day it will make perfect sense and I know that day will come.”
Jacob, 22, and his blushing bride tied the knot in front of friends and family at the Roloff family farm on September 7 in a breathtaking ceremony that took place outdoors.
“This chair was adorned in blankets that were my mother’s, which she left in a chest for me along with many of her other blankets and clothing,” Isabel revealed, giving fans a glimpse at the mementos. “Stargazer Lillies were here favorite flower, and it only felt right to seat them on the chair along with her blankets.”
“My brother didn’t have many possessions, but underneath the table (you can sort of see it in the photo) is a bus bench he tagged with his signature, so of course, we had to showcase that,” she continued.
Isabel also opened up about how much it meant to her, adding, “These photos of their smiling faces were a constant reminder to me that day that they were there, dancing with us, in every song, and they are always seated beside us for every adventure.”
As fans may recall, she previously revealed that her mother tragically died in 2014 after a battle with breast cancer. In her latest post, Isabel made sure to comfort any of her followers struggling with a painful loss of their own, noting how our loved ones are still with us “every step of the way” even if they are no longer physically here anymore.
