Gypsy didn’t stick with her blonde locks for long. On June 2, 2024, Gypsy revealed that she went back to her natural brown hair color a little over a month after going blonde. She shared a photo on Instagram showing off her new look while wearing a gold necklace with the initial “K,” in honor of her boyfriend, Ken Urker.

“Went back to my natural,” Gypsy wrote for the caption.

Gypsy snapped when she shared this selfie in May 2024, debuting her new nose and blonde hair.

One month prior, a source exclusively told In Touch that Gypsy’s nose always “bothered her.”

“She felt it was too big for her face,” the source explained. “She suffered so much abuse at the hands of her mother. Changing her nose was a way to shed some of the trauma of her past.”

Gypsy was camera-ready as she exited the car with her then-hubby, Ryan, in New York City on January 5, 2024. She appeared in an interview on Good Morning America to discuss her past and plans for the future.

The couple met in 2020 via correspondence while she was still behind bars. They got married on July 21, 2022, inside Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center. The pair was not allowed to have conjugal visits while Gypsy served her sentence, but she revealed upon her release that they hope to have children one day.

They split the following March.

By January 1, 2024, Gypsy proved how adept she’d become at the art of selfies, showing off straightened hair and makeup that matched her pink sweater.

Wearing gorgeous makeup and blown-out hair, Gypsy donned a New Orleans Saints football jersey in a December 31, selfie, writing, “Louisiana love. NFL game day!” Her team beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-13.

Many Questions

For a while, Gypsy likely didn’t know her own age. According to Buzzfeed News, when her father called to wish her a happy 18th birthday, Gypsy’s mother told him, “she thinks she’s 14.” In reality, she was born on July 27, 1991, and is 30 years old.

All the Lies

Why would Dee Dee lie about such a thing? Well, no one’s really sure why Gypsy’s mother did the things she did to her. It’s very likely that Dee Dee had FDIA and fabricated Gypsy’s illnesses and diseases — even going so far as to harm her with unnecessary medical prescriptions and procedures. But that diagnosis can’t be made now that Dee Dee is dead.

The Crime

Gypsy’s ex-boyfriend Nick was found guilty in November 2018 of first-degree murder for being a co-conspirator to the crime of murdering Dee Dee.

However, Oxygen reported that Gypsy actually stole the knife used to kill her mother from Walmart and gave it to him. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison for their crime and remains there today.

She’s Healthy Now

But Gypsy has given some interviews since she was imprisoned. For instance, she spoke with ABC News in January 2018 and spoke of how she was never sick like her mother claimed.

Gypsy also talked to Dr. Phil in November 2017. She spoke with him about how she thought the only way she could escape the abuse she faced for years as a child was if her mother was dead.

Gypsy Dated Multiple Men in Prison

Gypsy’s friends told In Touch that she dated multiple men while behind bars following her split from ex-fiancé Ken.
“I’m afraid she’ll meet someone and marry him,” Fancy Marcelli said, noting Gypsy has talked to several men from behind bars. “These are guys from the support groups, the Gypsy support groups,” she explains. “They attached themselves to Gypsy, and a lot of them just want fame. One of the guys was 20 years older; they’ve already broken up. Some of the guys have even gone to the prison to meet Gypsy.”

Fortunately, Gypsy fell in love with Ryan Scott Anderson in 2020, and married him in July 2022 while still incarcerated.
