Yikes! Farrah Abraham posted a tribute video about September 11 on her YouTube channel, but the Teen Mom alum was met with backlash after she accidentally called the day “7-Eleven.”

“OK, so we wanted to do, since it’s gonna be September 11, in honor of the Freedom Towers, and observatory deck and everything, of 7-Eleven, we are going to do this,” the 28-year-old said in the video on Wednesday, September 11. “Wow, look at this, guys. I think this is gorgeous, beautiful, and in memory of a lot of loved ones, a lot of others lost. I remember being in fifth grade when September 11 attacks happened. Sophia was not born yet, so I think it’s really important that Sophia learns about it, and here we go.”

The brunette beauty also added a clip of her adventure with her 10-year-old daughter on Instagram. “9/11 ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER @walkstours,” she wrote on social media. “In memory of September 11, I was in fifth grade when this happened, and now Sophia being in fifth grade, we enjoy this experience. Watch now. Link in bio. FarrahTube.”

While Farrah might not have noticed her big mistake, her followers certainly did. One person wrote, “She really said 7-Eleven,” while another echoed, “Take this down!!! So many mistakes and insensitivity.” A third chimed in, writing, “Unfollowing right now. The fact that she said 7-Eleven is disgusting. She is using this horrible moment in history to try to gain more fame and exploit her child even more. So shameful.”

Some Instagram users pointed out that the MTV personality was being selfish by sharing the video on the first place. “Of course she’s trying to make a tragic experience about her. If you’re gonna talk about the tragic events that happened on this day at least remember the date, and stop trying to make it about you,” one commenter wrote. A second person fumed, “Do not exploit this day for your own personal ventures!”

However, Farrah is defending herself. “I very much said September 11th and wrote 9/11, and if there was a mistake, I’m human,” she told In Touch exclusively. “But we all know where my heart is and blessed I could share my first visit with my daughter. We very much loved the experience.”
