Fans Slam Miley Cyrus for Sharing Jenelle Evans’ Instagram of Stepdaughter Maryssa: ‘Thought You Had More Class’
Yikes! Miley Cyrus shared a photo of Jenelle Evans’ stepdaughter, Maryssa Eason, on Instagram, and fans were not happy with the pop star.
On Monday, July 15, the 26-year-old re-posted Jenelle’s photo of Maryssa playing drums on her Instagram Stories. “@MileyCyrus #MothersDaughter,” the post read. “BY: Maryssa Eason.” Clearly, the 11-year-old was rocking out to Miley’s newest single called “Mother’s Daughter.”
But people didn’t hold back on social media. One person wrote, “@MileyCyrus why did you post Jenelle Evans stepdaughter on your IG? Her husband killed there dog! She lost custody of their kids not long ago. Thought you had better class than that — posting a dog killer family,” while another echoed, “Whyyyyy would @MileyCyrus ever repost Jenelle Evans on her story!!!!!! Hello!! Her psycho husband literally SHOT THEIR PUPPY RECENTLY.” A third chimed in, writing, @MileyCyrus Miley … what the hell? I thought you were an animal lover? Jenelle Evans has gone through multiple dogs in ten years and her husband, David Eason, MURDERED their puppy IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN. WTF, Miley!!! Do better!”
The Teen Mom 2 alum, 27, has been making headlines lately since her husband allegedly killed their French Bulldog, Nugget, in April. Ultimately, the MTV star decided to stand by her man as they dealt with all the legal fall out, including a custody battle and an animal cruelty investigation. Jenelle has 9-year-old son Jace and 5-year-old son Kaiser from previous relationships while David has Maryssa and 5-year-old son Kaden from previous relationships. They share 2-year-old daughter Ensley together.
Eventually, the investigation was closed, no charges were filed and the police claimed that she “fabricated” the story about David, 31, shooting Nugget. “She advised that she never heard or saw anything to indicate that David shot her dog,” said a report obtained by Radar Online. “She [said], ‘I don’t know if she was shot or killed or not.’” Jenelle later denied fabricating the story.
On Sunday, July 14, David revealed on his YouTube account that the family had adopted two new dogs, Junior and Buddy. “After lots of research, we came across this breed of dog called the Anatolian Shepherd,” he wrote in the caption of the video, which shows the dogs hanging out with their chickens. “They are one of the most unique types of dogs I have ever seen and have the best temperament and disposition of any dog I have ever owned.”
Well, it seems like Miley definitely didn’t mean to insert herself into this narrative.
