So sad. Miley Cyrus revealed that her pet pig named Bubba Sue, a.k.a. Pig Pig, died on Wednesday, July 10. “Very sad to say … my dear friend Pig Pig has passed away,” the 26-year-old captioned a video of herself holding Pig Pig over her shoulder as she oinked and ate an apple. “I will miss you always. Thank you for so many laughs and good times, girl.”

In another Instagram Story, the blonde beauty captioned a snap of her kissing the pig, writing, “I will miss you, Pig Pig.” The “Mother’s Daughter” crooner also uploaded a photo from when she posed with Pig Pig on the cover of Paper magazine in June 2015.

Then, the Tennessee native shared several snaps of the animal with her famous pals such as Bella Hadid and Jeremy Scott. “Pig with Bean, Emu, @bellahadid and @jeremyscott,” she wrote. “We will ALL miss you so much Pig Pig. RIP, my sweet girl.”

Miley first adopted Pig Pig in August 2014 after her dog Floyd suddenly passed away in April. The pop star introduced her tiny piglet to her fans via Instagram, writing, “Happiest mommy ever.”

Currently, the Disney alum owns 16 pets with her husband, Liam Hemsworth.  After the Woolsey fire destroyed their home in November, Miley spoke about how amazing her man was during the horrific experience. “Liam, I’ve never loved him more for this. I call him my survival partner,” she told Howard Stern at the time. “He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that is why you pair up with someone — for survival — and he was so incredible.”

The Grammy nominee also explained that The Hunger Games actor, 29, was so incredible with their pets. “He got all the animals out in his truck — he put two pigs in crates. I said, ‘How did you get them out?’ and he said the only thing he could [do] was get a really powerful hose and sprayed them in the ass. So, he just chased the pigs into the crate — which was genius.”

We’re sorry for Miley’s loss, but hopefully, she can bring a new addition into her clan, soon.
