Not having it! Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff took to Instagram on Sunday, August 11, to slam a troll who said his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, should sign a prenup.

In a now-deleted remark on a sweet photo of the couple (that didn’t seem at all controversial), someone wrote, “Make sure to make her sign a prenup.” You’d better believe Matt didn’t let that particular declaration go! “LOL. Why would I do that??” the 57-year-old reality TV star responded. “She has more assets [than] me.” Ah, Matt. Always thinking like a businessman, huh?

That person was not the only fan to bring up marriage or a prenup in the replies. “Hope you were wise enough to get that prenup signed …” one Instagram user wrote. But another was more positive and said, “Matt when [are] you going to put a ring on that pretty lady she takes good care of you.”

Don’t worry, you haven’t missed anything — as far as we know, there’s no prenup to be signed because Matt and Caryn aren’t engaged. But Matt has spoken about wanting to marry his partner, which might be why people are getting more vocal about prenups in his comments. In fact, on the season finale of his TLC show, Matt said, “My goal is to eventually get married to Caryn — I like that idea.”

However, Matt and his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, were married for 27 years before calling it quits in 2015. Although they wrote in a statement at the time that they were “proud” of what they had “accomplished together,” including raising their kids, their relationship after they got divorced has not always been smooth. We can understand why Matt might want to wait to get married again, even if he does seem extremely fond of Caryn. They’ve got time!
