Adam Busby Had a Hilarious Response to a Fan Who Asked if He and Danielle Busby Will Have More Kids
Give them a rest, already! Adam Busby did an Instagram Q&A on October 15, and one fan chose to ask the OutDaughtered dad, “Are y’all going to have any more kids?” Adam, 37, responded hilariously by writing, “Shop’s closed!” Guess that answers that!
You would think that Adam’s wife, Danielle Busby, would be on the same page as the reality star dad of six girls. After all, the Busby’s famously share America’s only set of all-female quintuplets, and they have an older daughter, Blayke, to parent as well. That’s a lot of little ones to keep track of, and we wouldn’t blame them for not wanting to welcome anymore into their already hectic family life.
However, Danielle, 35, did tell Us Weekly in June 2019 that the answer for her is not that simple. She also joked that the “shop’s closed” like her husband, but she added, “It would be nice to have a little boy and carry on the Busby name here, but there won’t be any more children unless one day God put it on our hearts to adopt.”
Plus, Adam added that he and Dani will “never completely shut the door on” adopting another kid in addition to Blayke, Parker, Hazel, Ava, Riley and Olivia. “It’s something we’ll always stay open-minded to,” the reality TV dad told Us. “As far as … her birthing any more children, no, that’s not going to happen.” So the answer still seems to be no, OutDaughtered fans shouldn’t expect the Busbys to add to their brood. But never say never.
OutDaughtered fans may recall that Danielle didn’t have the easiest time getting pregnant in the first place. The TV personality shared a photo of “our first photo shoot with all six of our girlies” on October 2 and opened up about her struggles with infertility.
“This photo reminds me daily to never give up HOPE,” she shared. “For the days when I was so lost and in pain of not being able to have children … to know a house full of six girls. I could have never imagined this life. It’s hard but so rewarding! To those of you who may be [struggling] to have children, don’t give up HOPE. There is a time your time will come.” We think Danielle seems pretty thrilled to have the six little ones she has already.
