She’s back! Danielle Busby had surgery on November 12, and her husband, Adam Busby, shared a photo from her homecoming on November 13 that showed off their daughter Hazel’s sweet reaction to her mama’s return. OutDaughtered fans weren’t initially sure why Danielle, 35, was in the hospital when her husband let them know she was there. The couple later updated their followers to tell them the reality TV mama had a hysterectomy, but she seemed to bounce back and it wasn’t long before she was headed home.

“Mommy’s home!” Adam, 37, captioned a photo of his wife and one of their daughters on Instagram. “Hazel: ‘Where you been …? Ok … show me bobos or it didn’t happen.’ 😂 #itsabuzzworld #OutDaughtered.” TBH, we can see the feisty little girl subjecting her mom to that exact line of questioning.

At first, Adam shared with OutDaughtered fans on Instagram that his wife was hospitalized and needed prayers but didn’t offer many details. He did say they were “back where this crazy journey started” at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas, but not much else. It wasn’t until the duo shared a long YouTube video on November 13 that Danielle revealed she had surgery because she underwent a hysterectomy after being previously diagnosed with PCOS.

“I know this isn’t something we haven’t ever really shared or talked about, but life physically after having quintuplets has been super painful, challenging, hard,” Dani began the video. “[We’ve] discovered that, you know, [I] basically [have] PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome], which is like where cysts keep forming on my ovaries and they keep rupturing, which is just unbearable … So we’re having a hysterectomy today.”

She went on to explain, “I’m so proud of my body for being able to carry the girls for 28 weeks and have five healthy babies who are now 4 [years old] … but the past three years have been really, really filled with a lot of physical pain … This last year has been the top of the scale with lots of pain and days every month where I’m just not able to get out of bed, and I have to because, you know, I have six kids.” She decided she was done trying to manage it and went through with the procedure.

Thankfully, it seems like everything went smoothly, and Danielle is now resting comfortably at home; all she has to deal with now is the scrutiny of her cute, curious kids!
