What’s wrong with Danielle Busby? On Tuesday, November 12, the OutDaughtered star’s husband, Adam Busby, revealed she is in the hospital. On Instagram, he told fans they were “back where this crazy journey started” as he asked his followers for “prayers.” Though he didn’t share any more details about what was going on, the mom of six offered a little more insight into the situation on her own Instagram Story. “Surgery day,” she captioned a photo of a hospital bed.

The family did give another clue about what was going on. Adam, 37, added a location to his post: The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. The medical facility is the same one where Danielle, 35, gave birth to the couple’s quintuplets. The father of six seemed to hint that the surgery that his wife was undergoing may have something to do with having children — or, as it turns out, not having children.

In October, Adam revealed that he and his wife are happy with the six kids they have and aren’t planning on having any more. In fact, they’ve pretty much decided that they’re done. “Shop’s closed,” he told a fan who asked if they were hoping for any more little ones. Danielle has also opened up about leaving pregnancy and labor in her past. Over the summer, she shared the same “shop’s closed” sentiment.

However, the couple has admitted that they’re open to adoption in the future. “It would be nice to have a little boy and carry on the Busby name here, but there won’t be any more children unless one day God put it on our hearts to adopt,” Danielle told Us Weekly in June. Adam added that they’ve “never completely shut the door on” on that idea. “It’s something we’ll always stay open minded to,” he said. “[But] as far as … her birthing any more children, no, that’s not going to happen.”

For now, these two have their hands full with the six girls they already share. Luckily, big sister Blayke is happy to help with the five little ones. “Blayke is just the best big sister,” Danielle told In Touch in September. “She is always helping the quints and trying to teach them what she knows, but in such a sweet and gentle way.”
