That’s A Lotta Leg, Michelle! Fans Praise The ‘Counting On’ Matriarch For Rocking A Shorter Skirt
This is a little risqué for her! Michelle Duggar rocked a shorter skirt in a recent Duggar family photo, and fans definitely took notice. It wasn’t exactly a miniskirt, but anything that isn’t fairly long is pretty impressive for the Counting On matriarch. The Duggars are visiting Honduras to do some missionary work, and this photo is just an update for fans on their journey so far. The official Duggar family Instagram account shared the shot on Dec. 4, and the caption read, “We have arrived in Central America and we are so excited about what the Lord is doing here! Thank you for all your prayers!” in typical Duggar style.
It doesn’t look like all the Duggars went on the trip, which makes sense because there are a lot of them and several of the older kids have their own families and small children these days, making it more difficult for them to jet off to another country to do mission work. But family members like Jana, James, and Jennifer all seem to be present at least.
But more importantly, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are in the first photo, and while Michelle seems to be wearing a top she’s almost definitely sported on Counting On in the past, the skirt she paired it with seems a little shorter than her usual attire. The second photo on the same post makes it a little more clear that the skirt isn’t as long as she generally wears.
This wouldn’t be a big deal, except the Duggar family has fairly strict rules about modest clothing. The women in the family are instructed to wear long skirts and dresses, though many of the Duggar girls who have left home after they got married don’t always follow that rule any longer.
In general, fans on the Duggars’ Instagram seemed to love Michelle’s shorter skirt look. The positive comments ranged from, “Wow Michelle’s skirts are getting shorter and love the straight hair! Good for her,” to, “Wow Michelle is wearing a shorter skirt!!” and more. One thing’s for sure: This is one look from the 19 Kids and Counting star that did not go unnoticed.
